Riding Beyond Borders
Epic motorcycle journeys, cinematic travel films, and unforgettable stories from the road.
From engineering equations to roads without borders.
I’m Abrar Hassan — a Pakistani-German traveler, motorcycle adventurer and storyteller behind WildLens.
Travel became part of my life in 2008 while I was building a career as an aerospace engineer. In 2020, I pushed beyond my comfort zone and began traveling by motorcycle.
The Germany-to-Pakistan ride became a 52-part series and a turning point for WildLens. Since then, the road has carried me across more than 90 countries — but the heart of every journey is still the same: people, culture, conversations and the unexpected moments between destinations.
Every Journey Has a Story. Ride them with me.
From the Arctic edge of Alaska to deserts, borders, mountains and cities across the world — each series is a chapter from the road.

Meet Rangeeli More than a machine.
Abrar chose the BMW G 310 GS for its light weight, compact dimensions and price before the original Germany-to-Pakistan adventure. Somewhere between borders, breakdowns, mountain passes and thousands of kilometres, the motorcycle stopped being just a BMW. It became Rangeeli.

Rangeeli
BMW G 310 GS
A small GS with a very big passport.
For the first cross-continent build, Abrar specifically selected the G 310 GS because its light weight, manageable size and price made sense for an overland journey. The bike then became a recurring character in WildLens — spoken to, repaired on the road, shipped between continents and affectionately known to viewers as Rangeeli.
Not a display bike. A working travel companion built around the reality of long days, uncertain roads and everything the camera gear needs to survive.
