Germany became the base from which travel grew from an interest into a way of life.

Abrar grew up around Nankana Sahib in Punjab, Pakistan. He studied aerospace engineering in Islamabad and moved to Germany in 2008 for higher studies. While building a long career in the automotive sector around Frankfurt, every break from work became an opportunity to travel.

Travel began in 2008, years before the motorcycle became part of the story. By 2019, encouragement from close friends pushed him to start documenting those journeys seriously. The passion project gradually became WildLens by Abrar — and eventually became his full-time work.

The important shift was not from one profession to another. It was from seeing travel as time away from work to building a life around curiosity, storytelling and meaningful encounters with people across borders.

02 / TIMELINEFROM A DREAM TO THE ROAD

A life measured in turning points. Not just kilometres.

WildLens grew step by step: travel first, then a camera, then a motorcycle, and finally a full-time life built around telling stories from the road.

03 / PHILOSOPHYWHAT WILDLENS IS REALLY ABOUT

Places are only half the story.People make them matter.

The aim has stayed consistent: positive, relatable and family-friendly storytelling that brings cultures, local life and adventure closer to the audience while traveling responsibly.

01

People before postcards

The most memorable parts of a journey are often conversations, hospitality and ordinary local life rather than famous landmarks.

02

Bridge cultures

WildLens uses travel to make unfamiliar places feel human and understandable, focusing on common ground rather than stereotypes.

03

Stay authentic

The goal is positive, relatable and family-friendly storytelling without turning the road into a polished highlight reel.

04

Travel responsibly

Respect for different cultures, patience in difficult moments and avoiding quick judgment are principles Abrar has repeatedly highlighted.

04 / THE TURNING POINTFEAR → FREEDOM

He was afraid of motorcycles. So he learned to ride one.

Abrar has described choosing a motorcycle as a deliberate move outside his comfort zone. He learned to ride around 2019–2020 and turned that fear into the platform for the journeys that would define WildLens.

The road became a place to learn patience, respect cultures, stay friendly and avoid judging people before knowing them.

WILDLENS BY ABRAR

The goal was never to collect countries. It was to understand the world a little better.

WildLens continues with the same idea it started with: travel with curiosity, respect people and cultures, and return with stories worth sharing.
